George W. Shuster, Jr. is a Rhode Island native and a direct 11th-generation descendant of Anne Bradstreet, the first woman poet of colonial America. He has studied poetry at Columbia University and the University of Virginia and has been writing poems for over three decades. His work has previously appeared in The Champagne Room Journal and Bristol Noir. George is also a publisher of Prudence Dispatch, a new poetry journal preparing its first issue for publication in summer 2025.
